Warm paraffin wax therapy is one of the most effective methods of applying deep heat to relieve pain, stiffness and inflammation. Fast-acting, drug-free, and versatile, it also soothes and moisturizes skin conditions, increases circulation, and has an anti-stress quality in its relaxing effect.
Physiotherapy is used to assess and treat symptoms and impairments in order to identify causes of decreased function and to promote mobility and quality of life. Your initial assessment will include an in-depth health and injury history, observation and physical tests. Based on our findings and your goals, we’ll develop a treatment plan that may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, acupuncture and taping, muscle stimulation, manipulation and soft tissue massage, or other modalities.

Rolfing / Structural Integration
Rolfing/Structural Integration (SI) is a holistic form of bodywork that realigns the whole body by releasing and reorganizing the connective tissues, called fascia. It can resolve discomfort, reduce compensations and alleviate pain. A Rolfing/SI session is done on a massage table as the therapist manipulates the client’s connective tissue. A movement component may occur within a Rolfing/SI session or be done as separate movement lessons. For best results, it’s optimal to do a series of 10 sessions. The 10 sessions are cumulative and work towards specific goals to systematically balance and optimize the structure and function (movement) of the entire body. It may also be reduced to three or six sessions according to your needs or wishes.
Improved body alignment, posture and structure
Speeds up recovery from injury
Increases flexibility—freedom of movement and range of motion
Proper movement is fundamental to good health. Muscle Activation Technique increases your range of motion and strength, as well as your physical performance. M.A.T. specialists identify and treat muscle weaknesses using a non-invasive manual technique. Your initial visit will begin with an assessment using various movements and gentle palpations followed by gentle muscle activation and range of motion re-assessments. We’ll then test your joint mobility to ensure the restored range of motion is well balanced with your renewed degree of muscle contractility. M.A.T. sessions take place on a massage table.
Facilitates better coordination
Conditions that respond well
Trauma from accidents, sports injuries, health conditions
Fascial Stretch Therapy™ focuses on the body’s connective tissue as key to achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief. It releases the joints and surrounding muscles so you can move with more ease and less tension. FST™ can even treat inflexible fascia at the deepest level—the joint capsules. We’ll conduct your therapy sessions on a massage table using comfortable straps to stabilize the limbs as well as other parts of the body that are not being treated.

Reiki is an energetic healing modality where energy is directed through the hands of the practitioner. It's gentle, non-invasive and non-manipulative. All aspects of the person are treated–physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The greatest Reiki healing benefits are stress reduction and relaxation, which trigger our natural healing abilities. During a Reiki treatment, you'll lie on a massage table fully-clothed. The treatment is primarily hands-off, except for a few hand positions. The practitioner will work with your energy field by placing their hands above your body. It is common during a Reiki treatment to enter a meditative state, while experiencing deep relaxation and peace.
