This workshop combines the latest research on pregnancy and exercise. You will learn about the physiological changes that pregnant women experience and how to support them with a Pilates-based conditioning program. The how to’s of modifying Pilates for the specific needs of pregnant women will be our major focus, and you will leave with a clear understanding of what to do at each stage of pregnancy. Special attention is paid to the birthing muscles, common complaints, and contraindications. You will leave with the confidence to teach women at every stage of pregnancy.
