For Greater Wellbeing

Pilates Level 3: Cadillac, Chair, Springboard and Barrels (270 hours)

Pilates Level 3 is divided in four modules. The framework is built around concepts of functional movement and anatomical relationships in the lumbopelvic complex, the four regions of the spine, and the shoulder complex. All four pieces of equipment–cadillac, chair, springboard and barrels - can be used from post-rehab to athletic fine-tuning. By clustering them together you learn how to analyze the best course of action given the needs of your clients. The case studies included in the program test your ability to identify movement issues and determine the best practices to address them. We differentiate between teaching methodologies appropriate for one-on-one sessions and group classes to make you confident to working in both scenarios.

You will learn:

  • Complete Pilates repertoire for cadillac, chair, springboard and barrels
  • Exercise modifications and variations for all levels
  • Protocols to work with individual clients in one-on-one setting
  • Refinement of class design practices for the group machine class environment
  • Practical application of functional anatomy related to the lumbopelvic complex, four regions of the spine and the shoulder complex

Program requirements include:

• Pre-requisite: Pilates Level 1: Mat and Pilates Level 2: Reformer

• Module 1: Foundations

• Module 2: Intermediate

• Module 3: Advanced

• Module 4: Practical Application
