For Greater Wellbeing

Naturopathic Medicine is a health care system that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional philosophies. It is the art and science of disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

Naturopathic doctors use various natural therapies, including herbal medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, Chinese medicine/acupuncture, and lifestyle changes to help restore a patient’s health and prevent disease. The primary goal of a Naturopathic Doctor is to treat the underlying cause of the disease rather than simply managing symptoms.

Conditions treated

  • Weight loss and metabolic disorders
  • Fatique and sleep disorders
  • Digestive health
  • Headaches and migranes
  • Hormonal conditions
  • Mood disorders
  • Skin disorders

First appointment

During the first appointment a detailed health history will be gathered and all complaints will be discussed in detail. Based on this information further testing may be requested or ordered.

Follow up visits

Follow up visits vary from patient to patient and depend on the condition(s) being treated.

About the Practitioner(s) Dr. Adrienne Shulman

I always knew I wanted to be a doctor. I just wasn’t sure what kind. I had a scientific mind but I also knew that there was much more to being healthy than taking drugs and medication. What I was most curious about was how to BE healthy and how to PREVENT disease. My pursuit as a Naturopathic Doctor is to help people become healthier, stronger and live longer! I am licensed through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy- Naturopathy (BDDT-N) and hold professional memberships with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
