In this workshop, we will explore the body mechanics specific to swimming, and the ensuing movement impairments that tend to surface for swimmers. The spine, hips and shoulder girdle will be emphasized as we review what the swimmer needs to succeed, and how Pilates-based conditioning can make a difference both short and long term.
