In this three hour course we will explore the body mechanics specific to swimming, and the ensuing movement impairments that tend to surface for swimmers. The spine, hips, and shoulder girdle will be emphasized as we review what the swimmer needs to succeed, and how Pilates-based movement training and conditioning can make the difference both short and long term.
